Winlo (“Winlo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the Winlo mobile application, website, and related services collectively, the “Service”.
By using Winlo, you agree to the collection and use of information described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What Winlo Is
Winlo is a social habit accountability app that allows users to create or join private groups, track habits, complete weekly challenges, post updates, upload photos, comment, and view leaderboards.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Service, and limited technical information needed to operate the app.
Account Information
When you create an account or sign in, we may collect:
- Your name or display name
- Your email address, if provided through Sign in with Apple or another supported sign-in method
- Your user ID or account identifier
- Your profile photo, if you choose to upload one
- Account creation date and account status
Group and Habit Information
When you use Winlo, we may collect:
- Groups you create or join
- Group names and invite codes
- Group membership information
- Habits, avoids, and weekly challenges you select or create
- Habit completion activity
- Leaderboard scores and results
- Participation status, such as active, inactive, or opted out
- Custom prize or incentive descriptions created by group admins
Feed, Photo, and User Content
If you use social or feed features, we may collect:
- Feed posts
- Comments
- Photos you upload
- Profile images
- Custom habit descriptions
- Custom challenge descriptions
- Other content you submit through the app
This content may be visible to other users in your group or to users who have access to the relevant app feature.
Notification Information
If you allow push notifications, we may collect and store information needed to send notifications, such as:
- Device push notification tokens
- Notification preferences
- Notification delivery-related information
You can manage push notification permissions through your device settings.
Technical and Device Information
We may collect limited technical information necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Service, such as:
- Device type
- Operating system version
- App version
- Firebase identifiers or internal user identifiers
- Log data related to app functionality, errors, security, or performance
Winlo does not currently use Firebase Analytics for behavioral advertising or analytics.

- Allow users to create, join, and manage groups
- Track habits, challenges, completions, and leaderboard results
- Display posts, comments, photos, profile images, and other user content
- Send habit reminders, group updates, leaderboard updates, and other app notifications
- Provide account deletion and user support
- Maintain, debug, protect, and improve the Service
- Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, or misuse
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
4. How Information Is Shared
We may share information in the following ways:
With Other Users
Winlo is a social app. Certain information may be visible to other users, especially users in your group. This may include:
- Display name
- Profile photo
- Habit selections
- Habit completion activity
- Leaderboard results
- Feed posts
- Comments
- Photos
- Custom habits, challenges, or prize descriptions
- Group participation status
You should not submit content that you do not want other users in your group to see.
With Service Providers
We use third-party service providers to operate the Service. These providers may process information on our behalf.
For example, Winlo uses Firebase services provided by Google for functionality such as authentication, cloud storage, database hosting, and push notifications.
These providers are allowed to process information only as needed to provide services to us, comply with law, or protect their systems and users.
For Legal, Safety, and Security Reasons
We may access, preserve, or disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or government request
- Enforce our Terms of Use
- Investigate possible violations
- Detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of Winlo, users, or others
Business Transfers
If Winlo is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or transfer to a company or legal entity, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Winlo may rely on third-party services for authentication, hosting, cloud storage, database functionality, push notifications, security, crash reporting, or related app operations.
These services may include:
- Apple services, such as Sign in with Apple
- Firebase services provided by Google
Your use of these services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Firebase provides privacy and security information about its services, including how Firebase handles security and privacy for app developers. Winlo uses Firebase to help operate core app functionality.
6. Photos and User Content
Photos, posts, comments, profile images, habit descriptions, group names, and other content you submit may be stored and displayed in the app.
Depending on the feature, this content may be visible to other users in your group.
You are responsible for the content you upload. Do not upload content that includes private, sensitive, confidential, or personally identifying information that you do not want others to see.
7. Push Notifications
If you allow notifications, Winlo may send push notifications related to:
- Habit reminders
- Weekly challenge reminders
- Group activity
- Feed activity
- Leaderboard updates
- Account or app updates
You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.
8. Account Deletion
You may delete your account through the app.
When you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify personal information associated with your account unless we are required or permitted to keep certain information for legal, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backup, or legitimate business purposes.
Some content or records may remain in limited or de-identified form if needed to preserve group history, leaderboard integrity, app functionality, safety, or legal compliance.
Apple requires apps that support account creation to let users initiate account deletion from within the app.
9. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and support legitimate business purposes.
When information is no longer needed, we will delete, de-identify, or aggregate it where reasonably practical.
10. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to help protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children’s Privacy
Winlo is not intended for children under 13 years old.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

- Change push notification permissions through your device settings

Winlo is operated from the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we make material changes, we may notify you through the app, by email, or by other reasonable means. The updated Privacy Policy will be effective when posted unless otherwise stated.
Your continued use of Winlo after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
